About Ralph Elizondo

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Elvis Tribute Artist Ralph Elizondo comes from a family of musicians. His grandfather was a well-known conductor, his father was a famous trumpet player, and his mother was a talented vocalist.

Early Beginnings

Ralph started playing the drums at the age of seven. In his early teens, he discovered he had a talent for dancing and won several dance contests. Later on, he played drums professionally and toured with several popular bands, where he also sang backup vocals.

Solo Career

While performing as a drummer for an Elvis tribute band, Ralph found out that he had a talent for impersonating Elvis. One time, the band leader featured Ralph during a local show. Ralph went on to win many local and national contests as Elvis which started his solo career.

Houston Elvis

In August of 2001, the Elvis Entertainers Network™, a prestigious agency in Chicago, accepted Ralph as a member. This was a dream come true, since the Elvis Entertainers Network is very selective when it comes to the artists they represent.

Awards

In the years 2000 and 2002, Ralph received recognition from CNN™ and Scotland Radio™. He is also a recipient of the following awards:

1st Place - 2000, 2002, & 2003 - Best Elvis Impersonator Contest in Houston, Texas
1st Place - 2004 - Southwest United States Regional Images of the King Contest in Lake Jackson, Texas
1st Place - 2005 - Fender's Showcase & Club Annual Elvis Contest in Kemah, Texas
1st Place - 2006 - Greyhound Race Track Annual Elvis Contest in Harlingen, Texas
2nd Place - 2008 - National Graceland Contest for Elvis Tribute Artist

Previous Projects
